Chapter 106: The New Gen Takes Over!

To say nothing of the Fylkirs. Even Akamana didn\'t expect that of all the monsters on the opposite side, Hakim would be the one to unleash the Fractal Blood Field—revealing a mastery of the blood that surpassed even that of his grandfather.

No wonder he had the balls to face the first generation with such contempt. He wasn\'t acting a fool. They were just not on his level!

"It\'s really not that surprising when you think about it. All of those so-called Fylkirs are obsessed with their humanity.

Making your brothers blood suckers, your children blood suckers. Your grandson a blood sucker. Your lovers blood suckers. Enjoying family ties, brothers, sisters, warmth, love and whatnot. But all are still suckers.

Some bullshit!

News flash, we\'re monsters, fellahs—fucking abominations!

There is a literal Abomination hiding in each Fylkir\'s soul, waiting for them to grow weak to take over and lay waste to the world. But you want to play the human nobles? Majestic, honorable, noble and all the fucking bullshit that doesn\'t fit a blood sucker?

What exactly is noble or aristocratic about a group of degenerative hypocrites who sold their souls for power and immortality?

Shapur offered his son! Hadrian gave up the love of his life! Trajan abandoned his manhood, Odoacer his heart, Sucuria the capacity for love, Arminius his master, and Gurdenhozer his sanity!

We\'re monsters. Deal with it. For it is only those of us who embrace their inner beast who can reach the true peak of the Blood Smelting Art.

AKA, Sucuria, Odoacer and me!

Because yes, unlike those mark-ass punks, the boss and Lady Sucuria know better than anyone that they are monsters, vile and corrupt abominations.

They tamed their inner beasts and kept them as bitches—nothing like those so-called nobles who hide behind a mask of humanity while ruining lives on the daily.

Lord Trajan is lucky the Weaver can\'t stop simping over him. Otherwise...well, I\'m not going to finish that one." Hakim didn\'t finish his words, but the meaning was clear. And though the Fylkirs had never been more eager to rip him to shreds, they had to admit...that he spoke nothing but facts.

The mindset was no doubt repulsive and insufferable, but it was all facts. A Blood Noble couldn\'t master the true power of their blood without embracing or taming the Abomination in their soul.

The Dark Rites had a similar issue, so while not one on the scene would support Hakim\'s words, deep down they all knew...that he was right.

Akamana didn\'t care. Extending her right hand as the gates of the Paradise of Malice...opened with a choir of soul-shredding screams!

"I praise the Lord...and break them all." The Grand Priestess whispered, and the moment next, the world sank into darkness—with Hakim\'s Fractal Blood Field becoming the only source of light.

Meanwhile, in an underground lair of the Jade-Faced Academy, an incomprehensible scene occurred. The Sucuria-possessed Headmistress Suri was getting her throat ripped by Celestia\'s murderous fangs, her blood flowing into Celestia and making her Sid level soar.

But as Suri approached dangerously close to death, Sucuria flew out of her shadow, her originally pale skin turning chalky white as her eyes widened, narrowed, rinse and repeat as she spiraled into a roller-coaster of confusion.

"How...did you break my hold? This doesn\'t make any sense. I am your Blood Mother. You can\'t...resist me." Sucuria was at a loss.

It was indeed incomprehensible. The Seven Primogens had complete control over their bloodlines, while Odoacer ruled all—making the hierarchy of the Blood Aristocracy inviolable.

And even without, as Celestia\'s Blood Mother, Sucuria should have been able to take control of her whenever she felt like it. But she couldn\'t. Why?

The answer came the moment next, in the form of a blazing red sword surrounded by an eight-pointed star that rippled with infinite divine power.

Sucuria recognized that symbol at a glance, her heart breaking instantly.

"You...are the Chosen of Heruka?" The Blood Marquess realized her mistake, inwardly cursing herself for failing to notice such a crucial piece of info.

"Why do you think my bethrothed all die mysteriously? Some think it\'s my aunt. Others that it\'s me. But really, it\'s the Red God.

Heruka can\'t stand men being close to me, so he gave me a boon that enables me to test my prospective fiancés. If they fail, the Red God kills them. And they always fail...for no man can look at me without getting consumed by lust," Celestia said with a cool and disinterested tone, shifting back to human form as Sucuria\'s eyes filled with rage and hatred.

So long! It took her so long to find someone compatible enough to inherit her bloodline. But she had to give up just like that? Because of a horny God? Why?

Why was she the only one doomed to be alone?

Forced into the background by those she helped transcend humanity. And not even allowed to enjoy her immortality.

It wasn\'t fair!

Ink-colored tears dropped from Sucuria\'s eyes. But Celestia couldn\'t care less. Her ocean-blue eyes flashing with Irresistible allure.

"So childish. Do they really think they\'re worthy of me? They\'re not. Heruka is not. And you even less, for there is not a person in this world worthy of the Jade-Faced Queen of Springtime City.

I am the bridge, you\'re the water. Try as you might, you will always be under me," Celestia said, her words sounding as if she wasn\'t just addressing Sucuria...but the world at large.

Here, she snapped her fingers, conjuring a blast of scarlet flames that healed Suri flawlessly.

"This is all nice and good. But while your cruel little stunt has no doubt weakened me, there is no a scenario where you can defeat me. Not even at 1%." Sucuria stated facts. But Celestia didn\'t flinch. Better, her sensual and inviting lips curled up.

"And who said I have to? Someone will do that for me. The someone whose been watching over me for 18 years–putting my life and well-being above her own.

The only one worthy of my affection: my aunty, Elektra, and she is behind you." Celestia said, immediately making Sucuria\'s eyes syretch impossibly.

In that same breath, a tempest of blinding flames came from Sucuria\'s back, and by the time she\'d turned heels, Elektra\'s fist was crashing into her face—powered by a murderous flurry of Everburning Flames!
